    PROGRESSION

    WEEK 1 (10/04/2023) :

After we broke down the problem statement and the empathy map, the next thing to do is to start on ideate what we want to make.

First we started with some big sub-themes on what are we going to make. We decided to make something ocean / land themed installation. We began to post up some images as the idea:

                        1) Land

                        2) Ocean
    fig 2.2, Ocean Reference, Week 1 (10/04/2023)

After collecting some of the references, we divide the work for the entertainment design students do the drawings. If any other ideas, can tell the
    entertainment design students.

So here are some sketches made on week 1:

                    1) Growth : a person taking care of the plants, nurturing it, giving water. (+ connotation)

                    2) Flow : Similar like the "Growth" but (-) connotation, which the idea is the gas from the inhalers directly attack at the plant.

                    3) Pot&Supplants : Effect to solution of the problem.

    WEEK 2 (17/04/2023) :

    We decide to create the sketches based on the four points we breakdown from the proposal phase, so it has clearer direction;

                    4) Flow (refined) : refined top be more focused on the inhalers.
    fig 2.7, Sketch 4, Week 2 (17/04/2023)

                  5) Float Away : I made this concept. Actually , there are 2 possible meanings from this; a) The corals (which made from inhalers) which supports the sea turtle to float with enjoy - to shoe the beautiful (+) meaning from recycling, and b) Where the inhalers and blister packs aren't recycled thus made the sea turtle lacking of oxygen and healthy environment, which make the sea turtle trying to go up into the other air to breathe more oxygen.

                    6) Pot&Supplants (refined) : Balloon elements are added as requested, adding ocean elements.

    WEEK 3 (24/04/2023) :
Our group discussed on which design is most likely to be made. It seems that, "Pots&Supplants" is the most likely for us to do and it has all the combined elements in there, so we decided to go with "Pots&Supplants". With more thinking, we created a new sketch which was an add on from some of the sketches we previously made.

Each of us decided on which color palletes are suitable to use, what kind of colors we wanted to use, so we dumped some color palletes that are possibly used:

We combine some of the color palletes into some
    variation of colors:

    • Create audience/persona as the current empathy map is target on us, student
    • How does the problem question solve the issue?
    • Problem questions very good and accurate
    • Can cover the overall environment ( from the sky to the tree)
    • Incorporate balloon into the idea/ sketches
    • Visuals/ sketches into another new slides
    to do:
    • Show more ideas

    to do:
    • After we broke down and decided on the color, we proceed on the prototyping phase.

      REFLECTION

      EXPERIENCE:
I started to get comfortable with the group mates. They all have their own strength and weakness each, but what I found out is that I started to think they're not that bad, they're a fun teammates. As the project is progressing, we started to be clear with the job desk, and we got to know and talk more each other.

      OBSERVATION
I observed that again, there're lots of design made of wastes and they're all creative. What needed is the concept. The concept have to be strong in order to deliver deep meanings.

      FINDINGS
I found out that there's a lot of different approach on creating the sculpture, not just new materials but also wastes such as medical wastes, recycled stuffs, and many more.
