WEEK 9 (23/05/2022) : Color Correction
We were given some supplementary videos to watch:
“There is an energy with stop-motion that you can’t even describe. It’s got to do with giving things life, and I guess that’s why I wanted to get into animation originally.”
- Tim Burton. Director of The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) Corpse Bride (2005) and Frankenweenie (2012).

- Creating new project, choose this setting(1920x1080 24/25 frame per second):
- Before you import the photos seq please change the setting:
- Premiere Pro CC--> preferences--->Timeline
- Change "Still Image Default Duration": 5; Seconds to 2-5 Frames (Trial & error, change it first to 2 frames and play it; if movement is too fast, try 3 frames, and so on)
- After decided the speed (2-5 frames per second), import all folders into Premiere Pro.
- Toggle on “Insert and overwrite sequences as nests or individual clips”
- If you have 10 photo seq, create 10 NEW SEQUENCE for each of them.
- Create a new 1920x1080 Sequence for editing, rename it.
- Now start editing! You can resize the imported seq(5k-6k) to 1920 (~2k), so you can choose to use W.S or C.U..
- Before import footage, change the import setting under “ Preference”: 24 frames per second.
- Import footage:
- Multiple files
- Check 3 boxes

WEEK 7 (09/05/2022)
We were asked to download some footages.
WEEK 9 (23/05/2022) : Color Correction
From the previous class, we were tasked to do the "aka demo emo," then, in this week, we were tasked to do the color correction.
Using the lumetri scopes, I study the color and try to adjust from the lumetri color. I noticed that the sequence I want to follow, all RGB points are located in 80-90.
Thus, this is my final for week 5 and 9 practical:

FEEDBACKS
- Scene 1 character seems like not really struggling, maybe make him reach out to someone but rejected by people he reached.
- The last scene can have some kind of continuous with the people from scene 1, maybe for example, the kid give balloon to the character to help him, etc.
- Need to show the mc needs help, the kid wanted to help, but pull away by the adult.
- Reshoot? yes.
- Better compare to the 1st version
