    Finalizing phase for AR Application Design.


    PROGRESSION

    CONTINUING
    I continue on doing my prototyping files, first, I started with another pages painting. After that, I started to move on with the UI since I'm bored with painting. I decided to make the basic screen first for the profile and fame.

    For the profile picture, I decided to use free assets from freepik since it has better design and more user friendly design than mine, and I decided to recolor it same as my color board.

    Proceeding on, I started to continue with the other pages as well. 

    Decided to do the title screen in the middle of doing the pages. I add a png galaxy gradient to it so it looked more magical. I also add one on the profile page screen. 

    During the time I also got an idea on animating my UI canvas, so it looks more appealing. On the title screen my initial idea is using an open book animation, however I cannot find anything good to suit the style of my app, so I decided to use another free online assets to do it. I use this and recolored it:

    So here's how it looked like on the screen:

    Proceeding on, I started to add my pages one by one to vuforia, as well as the screen.

    I started to continue on other thing, the camera feature. To be honest, I didn't know it would work, since I planned to only use white image transition as the screen capture, but I refer to this tutorial, and it worked, I can screenshot my screen and it's saved on my folder. It'll look like this:

    As time moving forward and I think my progression is just slow, I tried to make the assets for pages again, as well as the map. I decided to add texts, and surprisingly it increase the rate of getting 4-5 stars rating.

    Moving forward, this is my map, it consisted of area and landmarks of certain characters:

    It was a really long process, but I'm glad I finished all the pages.

    Moving forward, I added the bgm for each scenes, which I found free on YouTube. However, since scene homepage, profile, and fame is basically like a unity, I made the audio continues even moving on different scenes. Perplexity taught me on how to do it.

    Then, I create the UI design for all buttons, I made it simple.

    NEW FEATURE
    Upon completing the app, I want to add another feature, because I was reminded with my application design feature, where each user input their expense, they'll get experience. As well as, I don't feel good enough. 

    So, in this case, since it's a story book, I made it every time user read story, it'll give an item. I use this 3D modeling as the default character, where you can wear and un-wear the items. It's available in UNITY assets store.
    The system will be, from hall of fame, after you read, you'll unlock a new "friend", which later there will be crown notification there and if you click on that, you can go to profile and wear the reward. Upon clicking on the notification page of profile, you'll be moved to the wardrobe section, where you can choose what to wear, and more items can be get upon completing other stories, and each items will be unique to each storybook.

    The wardrobe interface design was inspired from a child game named Toca Tailor : Fairy Tales;

    EXPORT
    I'm using Mac and planning to export to my iPhone 14. Everything works fine at first, until I touch the play button and things compiling from 0 to almost 90% of my files then it's error. Tried this several times and even changed Apple ID, but seems, no good sign of successful build. :(

    After being desperate for almost 6 hours trying to fix it, trying to think of a backup plan, using my Samsung phone. Followed all the steps required, as well as changing the platform, resizing the canvas things, but now the issue is my Mac seems not detecting any input from the android. I feel like it's very weird, since my friends used my phone to export their AR App and they're all working. Trying to fix things by searching clue on google, YouTube, even asking perplexity, but still no answer. Even tried downloading Android SDK. Nothing worked, I was expecting it to work so I can present my AR Application seamlessly :(

    PRINTING - PUBLICATION
    Upon finishing all the features I think can be executed, I proceed on doing the book printing as well as the book publishing.

      REFLECTION 

      I feel like AR isn't really my thing, since I think I need more learning on this AR subjects. Compared to the other modules, I feel like this module is the hardest for me where I can give my full power which result to great outputs. I also feel like I'm a super slow learner in this project. I see that most of my friends are already done when I'm still struggling with this thing :"D Even though so, it's excite me to make new learning.
